Year-round Comfort or Seasonal Rustic Lodging

Whether you’re seeking year-round lodging on our conference side or a rustic retreat at Camp Gravatt during the warmer months, we offer a range of options to suit your needs.

On our conference side, every room is designed with your comfort in mind. Fully climate-controlled and sound-proofed, our accommodations ensure privacy and tranquility throughout your stay. Choose from our 12 lodge rooms, each equipped with two double beds, two twin beds, and private baths, or opt for our 16 cottage rooms, featuring two double beds and a shared bath between pairs for a suite-like experience.

For those craving a more rustic adventure, our platform tents at Camp Gravatt offer a unique outdoor experience perfect for youth groups, school outings, and adventurous adults. Camp Gravatt’s youth camp is available for reservation for groups during select times of the year, accommodating up to 200 guests in screened-in cabins and platform tents with community bathhouses.

Our facilities at Camp Gravatt are ideal for warmer months, so we recommend reservations between August and October and mid-March through May, as our buildings are not winterized during colder seasons.

Conference Side Lodging

The lodging on the conference side includes Cole Lodge and The Cottages. These rooms are climate-controlled and available for use year-round. They are conveniently located near The Chapel of Transfiguration, The Ireland Room, and Stewart Dining Hall.

Cole Lodge

Cole Lodge offers 12 comfortable hotel-style rooms, providing a welcoming retreat for guests. Each room is furnished with two double beds, two twin beds, a private bath, and a desk, ensuring a relaxing and convenient stay. On the ground floor, eight rooms await, while four additional rooms are nestled upstairs, accessible via stairs. Two of the ground floor rooms are ADA accessible.

The Cottages

Our sixteen cottage rooms are divided among four cottage buildings: The Byrd-Colclough Cottage, The Directors Cottage, The Friends of Gravatt Cottage, and an unnamed cottage building. Each cottage contains four rooms, each with two double beds and a shared suite-style bathroom between two rooms. Additionally, every cottage room is equipped with its own sink and desk for added convenience.

Each cottage building features a screened-in porch adorned with Adirondack chairs, providing a charming outdoor space for relaxation and enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Camp Side Lodging

Camp side lodging features both outdoor, open-air platform tents and cabins, and some climate-controlled buildings. The open-air platform tents and cabins are recommended for use from mid-March through May and August through October. Camp side lodging is unavailable during the summer months when camp is in session.

Tents & Cabins

Gravatt Camp offers two sections of camp-side lodging, each featuring platform tents, open-air cabins, and a centrally located communal bathhouse. Platform tents are equipped with ten twin beds and a back porch for added comfort. Open-air cabins accommodate 10 to 16 guests per cabin, with some cabins boasting back or front porches for relaxation.

Byrd Health Lodge

The Byrd Health Lodge offers climate-controlled lodging on the camp side of Gravatt. With seven sets of bunk beds spread across three rooms, it accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably. The lodge includes two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a cozy gathering area.

Wood Chaplain's Cabin

The Wood Chaplain’s Cabin offers a single climate-controlled room, featuring one queen-sized bed, a private bathroom, mini refrigerator, and coffee bar. Designed to accommodate one or two individuals, it provides a comfortable and private lodging option for guests joining a group on the camp side of Gravatt.


