Fun and Family Connection for All Ages

Reconnect and Recharge

May 24-26, 2024 | Ages: 1-100

Open to all ages from infant to senior citizen, Family Camp provides an opportunity for campers to experience a sample of camp life with a trusted adult by their side. But it’s more than that! Family Camp is an opportunity for families with children of all ages to unplug from the world and connect with each other through fun activities planned especially with them in mind.

During this two-night program, families participate in traditional camp activities like swimming, fishing, canoeing, ropes course, arts and crafts, and more. Camp counselors are available to assist in all activities and can help out if one parent has two children wanting to go two different directions.

“Family” might be one parent and one child, a grandparent and child, two parents and all the kids, or anything in between. You can make it a weekend for the girls, the boys, or the whole gang!

Everything is included in the cost of family camp, including meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast, two nights lodging on the camp side, all activities, and a camp t-shirt for each participant. For those wishing to lodge on the conference side (hotel style accommodations), there are a limited number of rooms available for an additional fee.

If you won a Family Camp session through a silent auction, please complete the registration on Campwise and email danielle@campgravatt.org so the charges can be removed.

Testimonials

My Favorite Memory of Gravatt…

One of my favorite memories is Eucharist in the lake. Eucharist is already one of my favorite parts of camp, and bringing it to the lake made it even better. The sun was shining down on us, songs were accompanied by the splashing sounds of water, and the kids were having so much fun. It was such a beautiful moment.

Making aluminum foil boats with campers and racing them down the streams that formed in the road behind the art shack during an extra stormy afternoon in 2015 always comes to mind when I’m asked this question. It was just a perfect encapsulation of the momentous joy that can result from the simplest things at Gravatt.
